ABOUT THE SUMMIT

Europe’s Leading Financial Wellbeing Conference

53 out of 100. That’s where Germany’s Financial Wellbeing Score sits. On 2 December 2026, 250+ people from banks, fintechs, employers and regulators come to Backfabrik Berlin to get into the questions behind the number: AI and advice, saving and investing, the Altersvorsorgedepot, and regulation. The FinWell Monitor 2026 opens the day; six masterclasses follow in the afternoon, before the FinWell Award and drinks take things into the evening.

ABOUT THE HOUSE OF FINANCE & TECH

House of Finance & Tech Berlin (HoFT) is Europe's Financial Wellbeing ecosystem, home to 70+ member companies and designated as Germany's official FinTech hub within the federal de:hub initiative. HoFT works at the intersection of data, innovation and policy to move Financial Wellbeing from concept to standard.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

On 2 December we publish the FinWell Monitor 2026, the measured score for how financially well Germany actually is. In the same room, 250+ people who decide product roadmaps, benefits budgets and supervisory priorities spend the day arguing about what it means: banks, fintechs, employers, regulators.

The panels aren't ours. Members voted them onto the agenda, which is why the day covers Financial Advisory 2.0, behavioural design that survives contact with a real product, and turning savers into investors.

It closes with the FinWell Award. The jury verdict in the WealthTech category is read out and the trophy handed over on stage at 17:10, and then the Glühwein starts.

Backfabrik, Saarbrücker Straße 36, 10405 Berlin. Main stage in the Clinker hall, masterclasses in three parallel rooms across the campus. Doors and coffee from 08:15.

The summit will be held exclusively on-site in Berlin.  The format is built around the conversations between sessions, which don’t translate to a stream. There’s no recording or virtual track.

Three panels chosen by member vote: Financial Advisory 2.0, Behavioural Design: Nudges That Actually Work, and Savers into Investors. A closing panel puts one voice each from bank, employer, fintech and regulator on the record about 2027. Six masterclass corridors run alongside, from the bAV opt-out playbook to AI in advisory, credit and debt prevention, and the Score methodology itself. Stage language is English throughout.

Get in touch with us via summit@hoft.berlin to express your interest in speaking, sponsoring, or partnering with the event team. Speaker slots are mostly set; sponsorship and partnership conversations are open until the beginning of November.

The full day: keynotes, the panels, two afternoon masterclasses of your choosing, the FinWell Award, and the evening networking that follows it. Food and drinks throughout. Nothing is sold separately.

Membership is how the HoFT network is built and maintained year-round —the curation, the introductions, the working groups, the research.

Members earn their seat at flagships through that work. Opening the room to non-members keeps the perimeter porous, which is healthy. Charging a contribution keeps it considered: people in the room have decided to be there. The fee covers a fraction of the day’s actual cost; the rest is carried by the network.
